What talents do you
have that you are NOT using to their best advantage?
Suppose you were
given $10 to use for a short time and you knew you would have to return it,
what would you do with it. What do you think the result would be? Would you
just return the $10 and keep the profit? Why?

how do you discern what your real talents are?
ReplyDeleteFor me, there are several answers.
ReplyDeleteFirst, some things just seem to come naturally.
Second, I've tried a lot of things - some work out but some don't. There is the ready, fire, aim theory- do something, if it doesn't work - re-aim.
Also I try to find the will of God. That's that's not always been easy for me. One test I use is does it fit with in the scripture.
I also have used some of the assessments that are out there to look at interests, skills and abilities.
Like I said, it's not always been easy for me - but God is not finished with me yet.
I would take the money and make baked goods with it... I could resell the goods to make a profit with the money... baking is one thing I can do that would make a profit for the money I was given.
ReplyDeleteI too have trouble finding my talents sometimes... maybe I feel that it should be something big, but was glad to hear Bruce say that our talents don't have to be big to be a gift.
